The Ant the Sugar

One day a hungry ant was trying to get up the wall in the backyard. There was sugar at the top of the wall. A man had been sitting on the wall eating cereal. He had spilled the sugar before he climbed down to leave. The ant kept trying to get up the wall but he got too tired to keep trying. He tried to convince himself that he didn't want it.| Moral: When people can't get what they want because of their inabilities, they often pretend they didn't want it anyway. |
